Back to school - August 2022

We started August off with zone conference and back to school in the same week. From now on, a move in day or a first day of school only without a transfer or zone conference will be simple! We spent this zone conference talking about the Spirit and how we can have more confidence that we are living in the Spirit and being guided by him regularly. Suse and Goose seemed to have good first days of 8th and 11th grades, respectively.

We've had quite a few former GANM missionaries come through this summer and visit, and it's always a treat to see them and hear how they're doing and catch up. We also kicked off the school year with a Micheal Buble concert, which was fun. It was his first live one since covid, and while he sounded amazing in the quiet songs, it seemed like he couldn't really hear his earpiece stuff on the louder ones and sounded a little off at times. So fun to see him live, though. What a voice! We also got back into the routine of soccer, young women activites, off season track workouts, and cello/piano lessons. Soccer games picked back up, too, so that makes our Saturdays busier again, and it's fun to watch Goose play again. This year,  Goose made the top ECNL team, but since she won't be playing on Sundays, they were really nice and let her play only in their Saturday games. So she practices with them twice a week and with the ECNL-R team once a week and plays with them on the Saturdays the other team is traveling far away. It's a little complicated but it works, and it's super nice of them to work with us.

It's also stake conference season, so we have stake conferences most weekends.

The clouds in Georgia...they're pretty amazing
