Summertime 2021
It's been a very quiet July so far with no girls in our house! Mark and I just work all day, take breaks going on walks, going to dinner or something once in a while, but we're just kind of nose down, getting stuff done most of the time. It makes us realize how good the girls are at getting us to take a break and focus on other things once in a while! Not surprisingly, there are lots of big transfers during the summer months and this was no exception. We had 27 new missionaries come in this month and about 26 head out. We're right around 200 missionaries now down from our high of about 270. We're still about 50 higher than usual, but not as high as we were. We still have a slow and steady trickle of missionaries heading out to original assignments, which is good, but also a little disruptive. We tend to keep more companionships in trios than we otherwise would so it's not so disruptive when they do head out with somewhat short notice. The interesting thing the las...
