More big events!

 In case I was thinking things would slow down a little after the wedding, I was wrong...the very next week, we had a round of zone conferences where Mark talked about our new GANM creed of being prepared mentally, physically, and spiritually to be instruments in the hands of the Lord of the harvest. As we do all we can to prepare ourselves to be the best instruments we can, we can feel peace as we do our best. I talked a little bit about Elder Anderson's idea of the quadrants with x/y axis with low/high love and low/high expectations, and how when you have high love for someone you also have high expectations for them because you want their greatest happiness. It's always so good to be together at zone conferences - we learn a lot together and love being together. These were the first zone conferences where the local relief society sisters put on the lunches for us, and they are so cute. You could tell they found a lot of joy in it, and wow, it's a big help. Wedding bells! April 2021

Oh my goodness, our oldest daughter is getting married! How did this happen? I have been visiting reception sites, meeting with people at the sites, tasting cakes, interviewing photographers, and trying to plan a wedding in Atlanta that Zelle and Adam will feel happy about even though it's not in Utah near so many of their friends and family. It was a lot of work and a fair amount of stress leading up to it, but now that it's in the rearview mirror, I can honestly say it was amazing! Zelle and Adam were really happy, which was what we cared about the most, and things went smoothly and all worked out. It was pretty miraculous. Zelle and Adam finished their finals at BYU then came out to Atlanta on Tuesday night for their Friday wedding. They went and got their marriage license the next day, and helped get sushi for Mark's birthday, which was fun to have them in town for!
